How to Stop strangers sending messages on Twitter ?
Are you tired of receiving messages over Twitter by unknown person ?Are you feeling
irritated whenever a new message comes to your twitter account by any unknown
sources ?
.. Well that's easy to stop a person who is not your follower, sending you messages
directly into your twitter inbox 'List'.Earlier Twitter did not allow to send message
message directly by strangers.Only person following you only could send messages.
In latest release of Twitter app (as well as web), sending messages to anyone has now
been allowed by default.
A person not following you can send you a direct message if you do not
un check "Receive Messages from Anyone"feature in privacy settings of Twitter
account.Changing the setting is very easy follow steps mentioned below:

Here's step by stesp guide to change setting so that non-follower can be checked from
sending messages.Privacy setting has been show for Twitter App for smart phones the
process is similar for web based Twitter as well:

1.Login to your Twitter account and select particular account for which you want to
change setting ,as highlighted box has been shown as selected account.

 2.Select 'Privacy' option :
3.Now uncheck the feature "Receive Messages from Anyone" in Privacy window.
Now you won't receive any message from unknown.
